Docker Image Install

For customers who require the most secure deployment, regardless of size, we recommend splitting the server and node onto separate hosts (bare-metal servers or virtual machines) with our Docker image install process. This not only helps with performance, but also improves security as it allows the server and node to keep SSH credentials isolated from each other.

Installation onto separate hosts is almost as fast as the single image cloud deployment. The main difference is we will need two hosts, one for the server and at least one for the scanning nodes. After the server is installed, some configuration files will need to be copied onto the nodes to allow them to operate. Otherwise, operation is identical to single system deployments.
